Frog
Have you ever thrown up something that you don't remember ating? I haven't. Especially not a frog I found in the back yard. It came out whole!

Maine
Whew! It's been a long time since I had a chance to post, and that's because I've been playing an awful lot. I went to Maine to see my friend Annie, and I spent a lot of time licking her mouth. I don't know why. We ran! And she would pin me to the ground! And sometimes I sat in a trailer that smelled like fish. Hmmm. There's so much going on these days, I feel like I'm growing up too fast. I remember about the old times, when I lived in a pile of clothes. Now I have a leather collar, and it's always do this, do that--so much asponsibilities! Sometimes my mean mom goes "Hhhhhhhh, Hhhhhhhh," and I give her a nibble on the cheek. She's so silly. She has hair on her face.

Skunks
I tried to ate a skunk yesterday. It wasn't even big. It was the smallest skunk I ever saw. And slow! Man, I can't believe how slow it was. I ran to ate it, but then all of a sudden my nose went blind and my eyes hurt. I ran in circles, but that didn't help. Then my moms gave me a bath on the front porch. Even nice mom. It was confusing, a little, and my nose was blind for a day. The world is smaller when your nose is blind. It's smaller than a skunk.

Kitties
On the ride home from where my moms brought me to see the grass and some chairs and to sit on a girl's lap tonight, I started to wonder about how many kitties I would ate in my lifetime.
Probably five or six.

Meanness
I have a nice mom and a mean mom. When they're cooking dinner I like to stand under their feet because it's the best place to lick the floor, and when I'm there, my nice mom usually gives me some food from the counter, and my mean mom chases me over to my bowl by stomping her feet and saying, "Go to your corner!" But also, my mean mom plays monkey with me. That's how I know that "meanness" is a compacated idea.

Inside vs. Outside
I can't decide which I like better, inside or outside, but one thing is clear: I haven't been to the dog park in a long time. Well, let me see. There are more shoes inside, but there are usually more dogs outside. Also, I've made a discovery that relates to my last post. My moms poop inside. This morning, I was licking my new stitches and I suddenly smelled poop, and so I licked my stitches for maybe another minute and then went to do some avestigations, and I saw Shya sitting on a white chair and I could smell what he was doing. He asked me where my Kong was and then I ran to get it and when I came back he was at his desk. Man I love my Kong. It's where peanut butter comes from. When I get back to the dog park I'm going to run and run!

I'm Sorry I Pooped Inside
This one's for my mom. Well, I guess I have to be more aspiffic. This one's for Shya. Shya, I'm sorry I pooped inside by the tree. Sometimes when I'm over there by the tree it seems like I'm outside, and I get so excited about pooping that I can't help it and I just have to go. Then I look up afterward and I see that I'm inside after all, and then I run away into the kitchen or something so you won't know it was me. But you always know. Please don't put me in the crate before bedtime. I want to come with you to the movies.
Love, Violet.

My name used to be Brenda Sue. Sometimes I think about that. I wonder what my next name will be!

Blankets and Playing
Oh man I love blankets. When I was three months old I found a blanket on the street in Texarkana, and I went under it and turned upside down, then pushed my nose at it because I smelled a dog outside, and then found some treats. I found one french fry, some candy wrappers, and a bug. There usually isn't any french fries in the blankets at my new home, but I still like being in there, because it reminds me of the town I grew up in, and all the playing I did there. I'm sleepy.
